Xianfeng: Beidou agricultural machinery solves problems in deep mountains, technology agriculture helps rural revitalization

At present, it is the season of autumn plowing and sowing. On October 24th, in Mochisi Village, Pingbaying Town, Xianfeng County, Enshi Prefecture, Hubei Province, tractor driver Ran Dongshan is driving a farmland rotary tiller loaded with the "Beidou" navigation system to shuttle through the fields and carry out fine plowing operations.
In the past, for autumn plowing production, Randongshan used ordinary rotary tillers for plowing, and the soil depth after plowing was relatively shallow. In October of this year, under the guidance of the agricultural machinery department, Ran Dongshan switched to a rotary tillage tractor with a plow equipped with an agricultural Beidou terminal system for operation. This technologically advanced rotary tillage tractor can not only accurately control the depth of the plowing plow, but also accurately record the number of acres and trajectory of agricultural machinery operation. It automatically takes photos every hour and feeds back the operation data to the agricultural machinery operation monitoring platform.After installing the Beidou system, our tractors, harvesters, and rice transplanters can know the real-time movement trajectory and acreage of agricultural machinery during operation, which helps to achieve scientific management of farmland in our mountainous areas and promote rural revitalization, "said Yang Zhiwei, Deputy Director of Xianfeng County Agricultural Mechanization Management Bureau.
