Easily identify meter level high-resolution imaging from thousands of miles awayAt 12:38 on August 30th, the Southwest Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station located in Nanning successfully received the first batch of remote sensing satellite test signals. In the future, the ground station will directly receive the remote sensing images of Beijing 3B - "Nanning 1" satellite that has been in orbit, so as to better provide space information services for China ASEAN remote sensing satellite applications and countries along the "the Belt and Road".The Southwest Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station is a remote sensing satellite ground receiving station built by Century Space in the China ASEAN Geographic Information and Satellite Application Industrial Park (Nanning) with the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission and strong support from the Nanning Municipal Party Committee and Government. After the receiving station is put into use, it will cooperate with the Beijing series of remote sensing satellites, including the "Nanning No.1" satellite, to efficiently serve multiple fields of economic and social construction such as land and resource management, agricultural resource investigation, ecological environment monitoring, and urban comprehensive applications. Through innovation and expansion of emerging markets such as real-time 3D, urban digital base, and smart agriculture, it will build satellite remote sensing big data reception and sharing distribution capabilities for the Southwest region and China ASEAN.

The "Nanning No.1" satellite is the first high-performance new optical remote sensing satellite launched after the construction of the Southwest Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station. As a remote sensing satellite project jointly launched by Nanning City and Century Space to provide space information application services, the "Nanning No.1" satellite is developed by Aerospace Dongfanghong Co., Ltd. It is equipped with Century Space's on-board intelligent observation and in orbit processing technology, with an image resolution of up to 0.5 meters, reaching the highest level of commercial remote sensing in China. At the same time, the data transmission rate is more than twice as fast as traditional remote sensing satellites, and it can have great potential in the development of real-time 3D and digital economy. In the ASEAN Geographic Information and Satellite Application Industrial Park, the Southwest Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station under construction looks up at the sky and will soon be able to directly receive remote sensing images from the Beijing No. 3- "Nanning No. 1" satellites.
