The Beidou-3 short message communication service has entered the stage of mass application, and related supported mobile phones are about to be launched on the market

According to previous official introductions, Beidou short message communication has entered the public mobile phone market, innovating multiple technologies such as mobile communication coding and high-sensitivity signal capture, overcoming key bottlenecks such as strong volume constraints and high power consumption requirements of public mobile phones, and achieving the simultaneous enjoyment of Beidou short message and mobile communication services without changing SIM cards, phone numbers, or adding additional devices.
According to CCTV News in March this year, China's satellite navigation system Beidou-3 short message communication has been upgraded and replaced based on Beidou-2, improving system service capacity and reducing terminal transmission power. Based on the construction tasks of the Beidou-3 system, the Ordnance Industry Group, together with China Mobile, China Electronics Technology Group, and other units, has undertaken the construction of the Beidou-3 short message communication civil application service platform.
