Long March 5 Y3 rocket arrives in Wenchang, Hainan
On October 27th, the Long March 5 Y3 carrier rocket, developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, safely arrived at Qinglan Port in Wenchang, Hainan. After completing a series of assembly and testing work, the rocket will be launched at the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China at an appropriate time.
The rocket transport fleet consisting of Yuanwang 21 and 22 ships under the China Satellite Maritime Control Department set sail from Tianjin Port on October 22. After 5 days and nights of navigation, it withstood the test of complex sea conditions and safely arrived at Qinglan Port in Wenchang, Hainan. Subsequently, the rocket will be transported by road in sections to the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China, and various preparations for the launch site mission will be carried out according to the plan.
