The technician said that in the past, it took 6 people to work for two days to apply pesticides to 300 acres of cotton at once, but now it can be completed in half a day with a crop protection drone.On July 31st, China announced to the world that its independently built and operated Beidou-3 global satellite navigation system has been fully completed. This is the first and so far the only aerospace information system in China that provides open and free services to the world. In fact, since the Beidou Navigation System began providing services to the Asia Pacific region in 2012, it has been industrialized in various fields such as communication, transportation, agriculture and animal husbandry, and tourism, becoming an accelerator for promoting high-quality development.Endless prospects for money and prosperityIn July, the first Beidou ground-based enhanced power base station in Xinjiang was built at the 110 kV Henan East Road substation in Urumqi. It is reported that the positioning accuracy has been improved from the meter level of ordinary positioning to the dynamic centimeter level or static millimeter level, and the positioning and timing accuracy can even reach 20 nanoseconds. It has been used in unmanned aerial vehicle inspection, tower deformation monitoring and other aspects, providing a guarantee for the safe and reliable operation of power.On August 3rd, at the press conference for the completion and opening of the Beidou-3 global satellite navigation system, Ran Chengqi, Director of the China Satellite Navigation System Management Office and spokesperson for the Beidou Satellite Navigation System, stated that the overall output value of China's satellite navigation and location service industry has grown by more than 20% annually, reaching 345 billion yuan in 2019 and expected to exceed 400 billion yuan in 2020.The "2020 White Paper on the Development of China's Satellite Navigation and Location Services Industry" released by the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association this year shows that with the development of Beidou applications as the core, the overall output value of China's satellite navigation and location services industry has reached 345 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.4%. Among them, the contribution rate of Beidou to the core output value has exceeded 80%. Meanwhile, with the deepening of the application of "Beidou+" and "+Beidou", the related output value generated by satellite navigation has increased by 17.3% year-on-year.In recent years, Changsha has always attached great importance to the development of the Beidou application industry. At present, in the Beidou navigation industry in Changsha, the number of enterprises mainly engaged in application and operation services accounts for about 65%, and the output value accounts for about 80%, and the proportion is still increasing. Since the beginning of this year, Beidou application enterprises in Changsha have been less affected by the epidemic, with sales performance and new orders increasing instead of decreasing. The main business income of key enterprises in the industrial chain has increased by an average of 10% year-on-year.It is reported that currently, vehicle monitoring, information services, vehicle navigation, and personal tracking account for 85% of the various classification applications in the downstream of the Beidou system. Industry insiders point out that with the successful launch of the last star, the Beidou-3 system will be fully established, and the functions and performance of the Beidou system will be further improved.
