'Fat Five' goes around and 'King' returns
Shoulder heavy responsibilities and live up to expectations!
At 20:45 on December 27th, with a loud bang, golden flames shone through the mountains and seas. The Long March 5 Y3 carrier rocket ignited and took off from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China. More than 2000 seconds later, it successfully separated from the Shijian 20 satellite and sent the satellite into its designated orbit, achieving a complete success in the mission.
The Long March 5 carrier rocket is currently the most powerful heavyweight rocket in China, which experienced setbacks two years ago. From mission failure to perseverance, from problem-solving to solid preparation, from overcoming difficulties repeatedly to fighting again with benefits, now the revitalized Long March 5 carrier rocket has finally brought a wonderful "return of the king" to the perfect conclusion of China's aerospace industry in 2019.
The "Fat Five" go around is not the ending, but the starting point of a dream. The success of this mission means that China has the ability to launch heavier spacecraft or send them further into deep space, which is an important foundation and prerequisite for achieving major national science and technology projects such as the third phase of future lunar exploration projects and the first Mars exploration. With the successful go around of the "Fat Five", the Chinese people's independent exploration of the mysteries of the universe and peaceful use of space will move further, deeper and farther.
The bell of the New Year is about to ring, and on the journey of pursuing dreams, we are all together. Long March 5, congratulations! China Aerospace, blessings to you!
