At 11:40 am on November 13, 2019, the Kuaizhou-1 Jia Yao 11 carrier rocket, named "Kuaizhou · Our Space", successfully launched the "Jilin-1" Gaofen02A satellite into orbit from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China. The satellite entered the designated orbit smoothly and the mission was a complete success.The Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket is a small solid launch vehicle developed by Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Rocket Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Sanjiang Group. It adopts an internationally recognized interface and mainly provides launch services for low orbit small satellites. It has the characteristics of high precision in orbit insertion, short preparation period, and low launch cost. This is the second launch mission of the Kuaizhou-1A solid carrier rocket this year, following three successful commercial launches in January 2017, September 2018, and August 2019.

The Jilin-1 Gaofen02A satellite is a new type of optical remote sensing satellite independently developed by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. This satellite fully inherits the mature standalone and technological foundation of the "Jilin-1" satellite, and has the characteristics of high resolution, large bandwidth, and high-speed data transmission. After entering orbit, the satellite will be networked with the previously launched 13 "Jilin-1" satellites to provide richer remote sensing data and product services for users in industries such as agriculture, forestry, resources, and environment. This mission is the 7th launch of the "Jilin-1" satellite project.
